Adding coal • There’s an old modelling adage that nothing looks more like coal than real coal. Well, the black-painted stuff on Hornby’s TT:120 coaling stage isn’t bad, but with a little work, we can make the model look even better. As an added bonus, this technique will also work for adding coal to locomotive bunkers and tenders.
